SIDER-LT is the side robot proposed by ASM ROBOTICS. It’s fast, quick and precise. The auto-learning control system is easy and practical to program. The movement speed of the horizontal axis powered by a direct current servomotor is over 2m/sec. The positioning precision is very high. Its small gripping structure allows minimum mold opening strokes, for the advantage of the machine cycle and mold clearance. It’s suitable for many purposes and thanks to its structure that includes the 90-degree rotating wrist it allows the gripping and the manipulation with different types of equipment, like gripper or suction cup, or with special gripping equipment. The materials used for its construction have been carefully selected among the most important manufacturing firms. SIDER-LT can extract, insert, divide and manipulate particulars, thanks to the possibility of memorising up to 40 programs. The control panel is small so it limits the operator clearance area. It allows the management of coupled equipment.
